Marley Helen Miller

Marley Helen is here!!! She was born on Sat. May 2, 2009 at 6:05 pm. Yep thats my B-day too. Best birthday I have ever had. She weighed 7 lbs 13 oz and was 21 inches long. She came a little early thanks to our doctor. She is healthy and so stinkin cute! Katy's parents started driving as soon as they heard she was in labor and since she was in Labor for 27 1/2 hours they made it to the hospital 1 hour before she was delivered. I got to help in the delivery room it was the craziest time of my life. Katy did so good she didnt punch, bite or cuss me out!! She had to get two epidurals because the first one fell out!!! yeah it just fell out!! "Marelsmellow" is a super good baby she just hangs out and only gets a little fussy when she is hungry. I am so impressed with her poopin ability she will go through 3 diapers while we are trying to change the first one. For the record Marley has quite the distance she peed on the wall, while on her changing table. Gracie loves the smell of Marley and Marley loves the kisses form Gracie!!! They lie next to each other and try to figure out what the other is! Marley is a great studying partner the other night so woke me up at 3:00 am to finish studying for my midterm. So the first two nights we didnt have our bassinet for our room and we didnt want her in her crib because it is to far away so she slept in a laundry basket, dont worry we washed it!

The New Year

I know its taken awhile, but we are finally getting updated. Here are some photos from everything we've done since Christmas. We went back to Utah for Christmas and got to see all of our friends and family.

There's photos of our dinner with all our fiends as well as a picture of the baby shower that my friends threw for me. My mom got Jordan a new antler hat for Christmas which makes an appearance in one of these photos. Gracie spent her entire Christmas break in front of the fire and Auggie Doggie and I joined her a few times. She never wanted to leave the warm fire and she's still not happy she had to go home. I think if she could find a way to get a fireplace into our condo she would do it.

When we got back to California we had to thaw out so we hit the beach with Adam, Maria and Jesse. We went down to Capitola which is on the shouth side of Santa Cruz. It was absolutely gorgeous and the dogs had a great time. Adam and Maria got a new puppy for Christmas. They now have Ralphie's little sister, Miley and she's a great addition to the family.

I finally have some more updated photos of the ever expanding belly. I went home 2 weeks ago and my mother-in-law had a baby shower for me. My sister-in-law (Leslie) and two of my cousins are also pregnant with me right now and we're all expecting girls. Laura (on the left in the photo) had her baby this week. Congratulations!! And the rest of us are due in May. I think that about does it for updates, I'll try no to wait so long for the next one.

Thanksgiving-Christmas Activities

Here's all the photos from Thanksgiving and our night in San Francisco. I wish I would have gotten a photo of everyone around the table, because we managed to somehow get 10 of us in our little kitchen to all eat together. We had a really good time. There's a photo of Gracie and her new pal Auggie napping together on the couch.

Then last night we went up to San Francisco a

nd walked around at Union Square. It definitely go us in the Christmas spirit, and despite my hat, it was still 60 degrees. We wanted to go ice skating at the rink they have set up in the park, but it was like a 3 hour wait so we just walked around the square and went to Macy's.

The Macy's in San Francisco is 7 floors! We ran into the Grinch and Santa Claus (his reindeer were German Shepards). We also went to Luis Vuitton and Tiffany's... but obviously it was just to look, and not to buy. All though, Maria is determined to get the $1600 travel bag for her dog Ralphie. I tried on an 85K diamond ring... wishful thinking.

Brad has finals this week then he's off for the next month, he's getting really excited and so am I. And the most exciting news of the week is that we find out Wednesday if we're having a boy or a girl!!!
